Exception : pré-salé
Le terme pré-salé désigne un mouton élevé dans des pâturages côtiers. Il s’agit d’une exception, car pré n’est pas un préfixe dans ce cas, mais plutôt un nom commun qui signifie « prairie ». Au pluriel, on écrira des prés-salés.
