On met l’accent circonflexe au verbe devoir, employé au masculin singulier :
- Il a dû parler. (passé composé)
- Mon loyer est dû. (participe passé)
Il en va de même quand dû est un nom commun :
- payer son dû
Mais on ne met pas l’accent quand il est au masculin pluriel ou au féminin singulier ou pluriel :
- une somme due
- des sommes dues
- les remerciements qui lui sont dus
